LOUIS VUITTON SERIES 2: PAST, PRESENT, AND THE FUTURE

A INSIDE LOOK INTO THE EXHIBITION

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Month of Febuary, Nicolas Ghesquiere whom is the creative director of Louis Vuitton, presents a surprising and avant-garde exhibition in Los Angeles, called “Louis Vuitton Series 2 – Past, Present, and Future.”

The event is nontraditional and first took place in an empty warehouse in Hollywood, far from the Museum and the Fashion district.

There is a specific theme to this exhibition that presents the timeless inspirations behind a new collection. It aims to give an original interpretation of the SS15 collection, through 7 rooms with only one attraction per room.

For the finale and steering far away from the classic fashion art shows, Nicolas Ghesquiere imposes it’s futuristic vision of the brand with an interactive exhibition, where new technologies meet the gene of Louis Vuitton.

ABOUT BRAND EVENTS

this project is to educate you in brand events across the board and the evolvement of brand experience. louis vuitton is one of many that practices this.

Brand events are a promotional strategy that create a brand experience for their demographic and consumers in a whole another level. The benefit of being face-to-face between companies and their customers can help gain further expansion for their brand through these special events like concerts, fairs, and sporting events. Brands use event marketing entertainment to reach consumers through direct hand-to-hand sampling or interactive displays. This strategy engages consumers while they’re in a willing, participatory position.

Brand event strategies grabs the attention of a group of people that are gathered together and it leaves a lasting, brand-focused impression of fun. If the brand events are planned successfully, it will give them a experience that will resonate in their minds and a moment that they’ll never forget.
